How does the treatment work?

Diode laser hair removal works by emitting a specific wavelength of light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicles. This light energy is converted into heat, which damages the follicles and prevents their ability to grow hair. After multiple sessions of diode laser hair removal, the hair follicles become less active, eventually resulting in a long-term reduction in hair growth.

How many treatments will I need?

Many patients experience noticeable improvements after their first couple of sessions. Typically, you will need at least 4-6 treatment sessions, but our specialists will determine the appropriate number based on skin tone, hair colour, hair thickness and individual response to the treatment. ​
